Mist Café & Co was established in Madikeri in 2012 by Sugu Nambiar and Prasanna Areyanda. Since its creation, it has grown to become one of Kodagu(Coorg) leading coffee companies with one main office in the heart of Madikeri area. Today Mist Café is specialized in the manufacturing/production of a full range of coffee products, (Instant Coffee, Filter coffee, Roasted bean’s, Green coffee powder, Green coffee seeds & Coffee Body Scrub) and the marketing and distribution of coffee products across all trade channels in India.

Coffee seeds of different varieties were procured from the local formers and thereafter packed and sealed in front of customers. Mist Café & Co was a retail store selling Filter coffee, Roasted beans, Instant coffee powder, Green coffee beans and powder packed and sealed in front of customers.

Giving customers the experience of the best quality filter coffee powder was the founder’s vision. While pursuing his vision, he mastered the art of selecting different varieties of green coffee beans, roasting it to the perfect temperature and finely grinding, blending, packing and offering it to prospective customers.

Selecting the best coffees and blending. Every season, Mist cafe Coffee Co. selects the best coffees from plantations in Kodagu / Coorg and Chikmagalur to create highly specialized blends for in-home consumers for their morning breakfast coffee. The sublime balance of each variety is obtained by blending several types of coffee like Arabica and Robusta, which differ in terms of quality, type of processing ( Plantation Arabica and Robusta Parchment) and originate from estates of these two regions. All the specific benefits and characteristics of these different elements are integrated and formulated to produce perfectly balanced coffees with distinctive flavour, aroma and taste.
